Hi everyone, my name is Rob; ​Originally from the Yorkshire Dales, I went to study geology at the University of Liverpool before moving into the outdoor sector. I have worked for a variety of major outdoor retailers and wholesalers before settling down in Scotland as an outdoor instructor, educator, and guide. I run my own small adventure business as well as working freelance for several other companies, leading groups across the UK and overseas. I spend as much of my time as possible exploring the great outdoors and the beautiful wild areas found across the country, whether that be on foot, bike or on the water.

Having been involved with numerous charity events, expeditions, and some races over the years, I felt it was the right time to organise a major event/s of my own and to support charities I have tremendous respect for. I believe the charities I have chosen to support do hugely important, and often taken for granted, work with some of the most vulnerable members of society who are in need.
